4th Edition
London Diplomatic Summit 2026
Navigating the Architecture of the Asian Century
28–29 November 2026
The 4th London Diplomatic Summit bridges transatlantic diplomatic training with the empirical realities of the global shift in economic and political power toward Asia.
Built on GDF's Smart Diplomacy framework, emphasising digital capability, multi-stakeholder engagement, and feminist diplomacy, this year's summit equips delegates to navigate parallel institutions, supply chain nodes, and non-Western multilateral frameworks that are reshaping the international order.
Focus & Key Themes
Economic Weight. Asian economies now account for 47–49% of global GDP at purchasing power parity. The combined weight of the E7 emerging economies has outpaced the G7 for over a decade.
Supply Chain Chokepoints. From Taiwan's semiconductor fabrication dominance to China's rare-earth refining capacity, the physical infrastructure of global power is shifting east.
Alternative Multilateralism. Institutions such as the AIIB, the New Development Bank, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, and ASEAN are operating with growing independence from legacy Western frameworks.
Energy & Capital Realignment. A new West Asia–East Asia axis is connecting Gulf energy suppliers and sovereign wealth hubs directly to East Asian industrial centres.
