About this webinar
Few governments today choose a single side. Vietnam trades heavily with China while deepening ties with the United States; Gulf states keep security partnerships with Washington while expanding economic links with Beijing and New Delhi; India belongs to the Quad, BRICS and the SCO at once. Regional and cross-regional institutions give these middle powers new forums for coordination, alongside, not instead of, existing ones.
This series finale asks how multi-alignment works in practice, what it costs, and how European and North American partners can engage constructively. It also draws together the lessons of all ten webinars, from energy and minerals to capital and payments.
