From the Belt and Road Initiative to the South China Sea, from tech competition with the West to leadership of multilateral institutions, Beijing's diplomatic strategy touches every region and every issue area in global affairs.

This comprehensive course offers a unique window into how the People's Republic of China connects domestic governance to foreign ambition, projects economic and technological power, uses soft power and public diplomacy, and seeks to reshape the rules of global governance — taught by faculty from Harvard, LSE, Nottingham, and Bucknell.
