The Diplomat’s Craft, Today and Tomorrow

Six expert-led courses that combine the timeless skills of diplomatic practice with the critical questions shaping what comes next. Now open for enrolment.

Some skills never go out of date: knowing the protocol, writing with precision, and understanding how representation works at every level. Others are about seeing what is coming, from the strategic pressure points of global trade to the future of the international legal order.

This collection covers both. You’ll master protocol and etiquette in our most popular course, sharpen your diplomatic writing and reporting, and learn how honorary consuls and the European Union operate. You’ll also explore two of the most pressing issues in international affairs: the Strait of Hormuz and the future of international law.

Every course is self-paced and taught by experienced practitioners. You have 12 months to complete it, and you receive a Global Diplomatic Forum certificate when you finish.
