Strategy, Influence and Innovation
Six expert-led courses on how foreign policy is shaped, how influence is won, and how new tools are changing diplomatic work. Now open for enrolment.
Good foreign policy starts with clear strategy and depends on influence: through culture, through cooperation on shared challenges like global health, and through a real understanding of the regions where the stakes are highest. Increasingly, it also depends on knowing how to use new technology well.
This collection brings those threads together. You’ll learn how foreign policy strategy is built, look closely at the UK’s place in the world and the dynamics of the Middle East and North Africa, and explore how health and culture have become powerful diplomatic tools. You’ll also gain practical skills in using AI to work smarter as a diplomat.
Every course is self-paced and taught by experienced practitioners. You have 12 months to complete it, and you receive a Global Diplomatic Forum certificate when you finish.
